Re: Palin Interview by ABC's Charlie Gibson
Michael thank you for your positive and uplifting words about the potential for the American Dream to still exist in these crazy times. You and I differ on whom will be the true "change" candidate, but we are on the same path for sure.
The problem with the McCain-Palin ticket is that Palin will not be appointing the administration if McCain is elected. Senator McCain admits he does not know much about the economy, and the unbelievably dangerous Phil Gramm. I believe while Palin may be somewhat of a maverick (even though her neo-con-like social values say otherwise), she will not be able to truly clean house in the Executive Branch. Her bully-like attitude with her former brother-in-law is troubling as well. Palin's husband also has ties to BP, although the extent of those connections may or may not be troublesome.
I believe Americans such as Caroline Kennedy are pure at heart, and see something in Obama from up close that could be "Manchurian-like", however I believe he is a man who astrologically, is very much in favor of enacting great change within the confines of the current system. Obama has constantly refered back to the Constitution and the Bill of rights, and I am sure does not view the FED as part of the true system. With that said, i have hope and YES WE CAN.............whoever WE may be!
