I'll look into it. But think about base level physics here. What is magnetism? It is an alignment of the spin of the atoms inside a substance, and this alignment creates a magnetic field. The axis of the atom creates the polarities at either end of the axis. So, how exactly do you go about cutting off the other side of the axis? That is my question.
Also, if you question it metaphysically in terms of duality and balance, that alone will produce a solid answer.
