I had a friend whose daughter was in a similar situation, and the doctor advised him not to feed chicken to the child. Apparently chicken are fed high amounts of growth hormones to ensure quick growth. These enzymes are ssupposed to be out of the chicken by the time it is killed and place on the grocery shelves, turns out, however, that in most instances that is not the case. It may or may not be in your friend particular case, but it is very evident throughout the society..
