As fire stated, you are indeed amongst friends!
The ignorant as you call them, do indeed seem to be everywhere, it's like what Morpheus says in the Matrix film 'Everyone is our Enemy, untill they have been unplugged' or words to that effect. I am not meaning we should perceive others as enemies, just they are very asleep and hence then can be dangerous when rudely awoken from their slumber.
Although many people are awakening, it seems that too many people are dealing with the events by switching off, hence excess drinking, drugs, too much TV etc etc.
