Mikill I feel ya, I am surrounded by people who are very brainwashed and defend their POV with the faith of a child, because that is what they are essentially. Afraid of seeing the ugly truth, they cling to the lies and propaganda so they can carry on with the materialistic pursuits and ego gratification unhindered.

However, the 100th Monkey effect is real and will make a difference. I believe I have benefited from this in my own life-I absorbed the lessons of hippy culture and the consciousness raising of the 60's even though I was born too late to participate in that zeitgeist...no one I knew as a child promoted these values-in fact they ridiculed them, but they are a part of me and always have been. That didn't happen from watching Sesame Street.
