I would not call your technique shielding Steven.. But I do call it the correct approach..

Connect with the all that is, the infinite IAM presence... And from there on it does not matter if someone tells you to self destruct.. If they do then you know they did. But that's all.. No need to follow their suggestions now is there?

How about this addition.. After you connected to that IAM presence.. Express it, open it in your mind and let it flow. So that whenever someone comes in with the message "You are disconnected from the source..." You will respond "Not only am I connected, but through me... You are connected... Stay or go it's your choice brother... Know that you are always welcome here..."

Many of them want out.. Lets open the door wide. The love of the creator is infinite when you have received it, share it.

The problem is the belief that "If it's in our mind.. It must be our thoughts and therefore true." this is offcourse not true. There's a lot in my mind that's not mine... And a lot of it, even the stuff that actually comes from me isn't even true...
