Nay this is not happening. The amero was an ideal for a currency but the deal got canceled with Canada saying, "Why would we merge with a bankrupted country?". Since there has been globalization going on...I see a world currency instead of the amero happening: "Blueprint for Worldwide Currency System" to US this weekend;
