I haven't had a tv for 15 years although I did watch it a little when I was back home in England recently. I have read that there will be a "government-mandated" switchover to digital TV in February 2009 - being the ever conspiracy minded person that I am, I have to wonder if that is going to increase the power of subliminal messages and/or allow the government to actually see inside your home? Why is it "government-mandated" and what's going to happen if you refuse to switch, will they come storming into your home?? Am I going to be hauled off to a FEMA camp because I don't have a tv???
