I read the OM and first couple of posts on the thread you referenced, and I have to say, I fail to see the glee about destruction.

I think where the confusion lies is that we all know what is going to happen in terms of destruction and chaos if the system crashes. That is not what is exciting. What is exciting is that if the system crashes, we will finally have the opportunity to live lives outside of the paradigm that has been fed to us from cradle to grave, not for our well-being, but for the treasuries of governments and bank accounts of the wealthy. Here is a question a I have posted before: is there really any difference between the chaotic unorganized death and destruction engendered by the collapse of the system, or the orderly, well choreographed death and destruction upon which the system operates? No one is celebrating the potential horrors that collapse will bring, they are celebrating the potential for freedom.
