Maybe the Akashic records are meant to be open for interpretation. Maybe the purpose of us seeing them in our present physical forms are meant to be interpreted using the faculties we have (our senses). Who's to say our interpretation is not correct?
Interesting topic, by the way. I've read a few opinions on how the different races came about.
