Hi all. Artemis, thank you so much for posting your story, for sticking with this thread and for responding to our thoughts and questions.

I'm intrigued by this story, and it has reminded me of a series of experiences I've had. Interestingly, being in an automobile is an important part of my story, too.

Once, when driving in a place that was completely foreign to me, I felt a wave come over me and found myself confronting people who were trying to communicate with me. There was an intense feeling of deja vu and of somehow being in a dream. This was accompanied by nausea. On that day, this happened several times. While frightening (it was difficult to maintain my focus on the road), I found it fascinating and wanted to know more.

This experience has happened to me several times since then, most often when I've been behind the wheel of a car, driving in a strange place. The messages being communicated to me by the figures I encounter in these states feel significant; however, they are always just beyond the grasp of my everyday waking consciousness.

On one occasion, I even lost consciousness briefly. I'd been driving -- again in a place with which I was completely unfamiliar -- and I stopped at a red light. The incoming wave of information, deja vu and strangeness was huge, and it simply knocked me out.

I guess I feel that, in these experiences, I've been peeking into another world -- or that it's me that's being peeked into by this other world.
