Sedona.
I am currently gathering resources and making plans for purchase a piece of land to make a stand on. Thus far, I've only included myself and my wife, and perhaps my immediate family (mother/father/brother) within these plans but see the obvious advantages of taking on others should they bring an honest contribution into the team.
I'm most interested in making connections with people who have some construction experience, knowledge of alternative energy and the likes.
We are not 100% sold on AZ as much of the property we've found for sale her is very barren, hot, dry and expensive considering what you get. However, we do find ourselves making our preperations from here and looking at. In-land towards Montana, Wyoming, etc. might be the actual place to settle and we're looking forward to making our land purchase and beginning renovation/development in March of 2009. That's the PLAN, things evolve.
