In another thread, our friend Makani has posted the raw text of the proposed housing bailout legislation which may be enacted next week.

FOX News has obtained a copy of the legislation Congress plans to move next week to avert a meltdown in the U.S. financial system. The following is the text of that legislation:

LEGISLATIVE PROPOSAL FOR TREASURY AUTHORITY

TO PURCHASE MORTGAGE-RELATED ASSETS

Sec. 8. Review.

Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.

It feels like the entire real estate realm may become even more complex, and that once a property enters any level of default, the past protections afforded through normal channels may be abandoned to the monolithic blackhole of "Section 8".

Does anyone in the District of Criminals recall that there shall be no law / legislation enacted which degrades the separation of three branches of US Government, besides those pesky Presidential Executive Orders?

This, my friends, is Anarchy (by the Government) on display, and their worst fear is that we choose to be(have) sovereign, and play in 'their' sandbox, as equals.
