This is what works for me when I feel overloaded.
Firstly take a break from it all, allow yourself to absorb the information and think it through. Even if it takes a few months just do it, its the best thing sometimes to clear your head.
Also I like to visualize myself looking down on the planet from space somewhere, rising above everything seems to help me fit pieces of the puzzle together that may have seemed completely disconnected before. It simplifies the confusion for me.
And exercise is also a big thing I love to do. Going on long runs always clears things up for me. Running is actually what first got me started in meditation as I realized that was often what I was doing.
