I think we are all born with the same qualities but then develop in the direction we want to. Preventing someone from following their heart may lead to bitterness, which can turn to anger and so on... But some humans will grow finding their path is enjoyment in causing turmoil and havoc. The longer they embrace negativity the harder it is to stop, to feel shame, guilt, to turn the corner and ask for forgiveness etc. So they cause pain in others due to their jealousy, to blame and feel better in themselves. to feel "human" again.
