You have hit the nail on head as they say.

I was raised to be a catholic. My Mom forced me to go to the catechism class every Sat.... When it came to the last part where you have your first COMMUNION it was a "big thing". I was to be BAPTIZED and Mom told my Dad I would need a "new dress".... Back at that time in my life I spent a whole lot of my time with my Dad. When he was working "he drove truck on a local route" at the teamster job. OR when he was playing with the one thing he loved "rebuidling airplanes" I was at his side.

He asked me if I knew what I was going to be doing when I did this thing at church... I said well I am going to be a member of the church. He said Do you understand what the church is? I still to this day do not remember what the book was he gave me but it was something about the same things that William Cooper learned about control and the good and evil of our world. After I read the book my Dad then said well did you make up your Mind about what your going to do with your soul? I had and here is the very strange part.

The night Mom passed at the very hour she died. I woke up and for some reason went into an area of our house where we had some things stored. I found my old work book (now an adult with my own kids). I saw that turned the pages and said No this was not for me then and it is not for me now.

I praise the creator of my soul, and I am thankful daily for having this life to live here NOW. BUT people each of us have to find our own way..
Having a life as a human on the earth at this time of times is a huge gift. Learning what it is "all about" is our job.
Joining a church is not my way.
