when i used to day dream around 7,
after my drowning, i would go to that place,
of sparkles, i loved it there, back in the mid 60's
and, my mom, would often interupt me,
geeez...i hated it, when she did
and, her favourite thing to say to me
very sarcastically, i might add
is:
earth to susan - earth to susan - earth to susan
(and, as, i would slip back, she would say)
where on earth, did you go !!!
sooner or later, you will grow up, and, quit doing that !!!
(and, since, she was a realist, i would just grin/or smile...
and, say nothing-which normally got her knickers into knots)
she also told me, it was ok to have my invisable friends
but, to keep them, in my bedroom,
and, to put them into my closet, and, for heavens sakes,
do NOT go out there, and, tell anyone about them
