An excellent discussion of the Over-Population of Earth as the
ROOT-CAUSE of the social and economic problems. The Birth-Stop Petition at
http://futureofmankind.co.uk/ is a VERY IMPORTANT step to bring this to the attention of the World Governments. The petition also proposes step-by-step solutions. Yes, we expect this all will take time to implement fully.

Having discussed this petition for the Birth-Stop, and what it means for Humanity in the near future with certain of my friends, I'll share some common thoughts & suggestions.
As an immediate set of measures, it may be necessary to encourage this idea among people with INCENTIVES to limit the number of children in each family. This is especially appropriate in the lesser-developed areas of the World...
For the MAN, after fathering Two Children who will then have a Vasectomy - He is to be paid a stipend equivalent to USD $5,000 in the local currency. For the MAN, after his Third Child, who will then have a Vasectomy - the stipend drops to USD $4,000 in the local currency.
For the WOMAN, who will submit herself to voluntary sterilization after her Third Child - She is to be paid a stipend equivalent to USD $6,000 in the local currency. If the WOMAN will Volunteer for Sterilization after her Second Child - Her stipend will be USD $8,000.
For those people among ALL populations - tribes/villages/ethnicities/nations - which do NOT participate in the INCENTIVE programs, such ones should be subject to DISINCENTIVES. All Welfare/subsistence/Food-Stamps and Tax-Deductions will END for the 4th or more child. The ONLY exception to this rule, will be for those families which ADOPT additional children. The money saved by the State here will go into the INCENTIVE program.
Such measures will have an immediate effect. Food for Thought.
