It's Naginata and Jodo. I've done Kendo for a while but let's be serious, a stick can be found everywhere or discreetly taken aong, a sword.... well you better carry it with you at all times huh?
As I said, this is merely to prevent more violence. Having the other guy on the opposite end of a 2m stick I'd have issues even armed with a knife. It's all about the reach.
But hey, as I said, guns or large blades and I'm running, the only wise choice for most conflicts anyway.
