i read much of this avalon material and i find much of it to be of interest, especially since the subscription was put in place and only people who have a serious interest in being here are here, i.e. i feel the vibration has quickened. :-)
However, I do wish to make a comment.... To avoid negative greeting, program your subconscious before bedtime. take ten minutes or longer if you so desire to pray or meditate. I sit in a padmasana position and oscillate between a state of adoration/prayer and rhythmic breathing/contemplation on the Oneness of Spirit.
In doing so the air becomes charged, my body releases any leftover "residue" from the day's experiences (so the Pons in the brain isnt kicking up subconscious images while you try to rest), and when i fall asleep... it happens consciously. I maintain consciousness from waking into sleep state down into theta as well as delta wave sleep.
If you watch a scary movie before bed that charges up your emotional body, and you will have scary dreams in line with the vibration of your emotional body.
If you charge your emotional body up with unconditional Love and adoration for the Oneness of Being.... you will then radiate this vibration in your sleep state. It will heal your body and you will sleep like you used to sleep when you were four years old.
People try to control the mind through meditation without first controlling the emotional body... if you still the emotional body/astral levels (the dream levels... hint, hint) first, you will find amazingly enough that the mind is VERY EASILY SUBDUED and you may like a idealized hindu yogi slip into a quiet state of Samadhi/contemplation as your body rests.
In fact this is what savichara samadhi is normally comprised of... putting the body to rest, the emotional body to rest and the intellect follows and one is then suspended in the body of Love whereby you feel radiant connection with All Life... AS LIFE!
i didnt read this on the back of a cereal box. i experience it on a daily basis... i am addicted to contemplating love and sleeping the sleep of peaceful abidance.
