Re: Hacking the Genetic Mind
Fascinating thread!
I have questions and comments.
Is it the collective consciousness or the collective unconsciousness?
Is it the same as the astral plane?
Does it transcend dimensions/densities or is it fourth dimensional?
For me, one of the places where the collective manifests most obviously is in stories from the great epics like the Ramayana to best sellers like Harry Potter. Whether or no and to what extent the PTB are deliberately messing with the collective is not seem all that significant to me when set against the depth to which story is ingrained in it and therefore in us. Remember that in all the great stories, the hero reaches the light. Good/right/LOVE wins.
I have watched over the last decade or so how fantasy fiction is changing, eg in the works of Charles de Lint. Much of his work is urban fantasy set in a fictional Canadian city. In his earlier works, good and evil met in more or less violent confrontation, and the good guys won.
Late 90s/early 00s, a different solution starts to emerge. In a lovely tale called Forest of the Heart (I think - somebody has failed to return my copy!) female characters facilitate a less violent solution. A kind of third way, and JKRowling brought Harry Potter to a similar conclusion.
The point I'm trying to make is that old polarities are breaking down. Love and light no longer defeat evil in battle, but by being or becoming large enough to embrace, hold and dissipate the power of the bad guys.
OK I'm biased here, but I do see the divine feminine slowly permeating through the collective.
(And with her in mind, can i urge everyone who has not already read Mrs God to resurrect Egg's thread!)
LOVE WINS!
I look forward to answers to my questions.
