President-elect Barack Obama pledged yesterday to shape a new
Social Security and Medicare "bargain" with the American people,
saying that the nation's long-term economic recovery cannot
be attained unless the government finally gets control
over its most costly entitlement programs.

I often wonder why they call them an entitlement program, when we've paid the money into the system.

If the gov hadn't been using the money for other things over time, there would be plenty of money in the system.

It's not entitlement, it's an enforced savings program, with the savings available for use by our very own representatives <sigh>.

Nazi is an idea , a concept and not a thing. A person can run their home in a nazi fashion, but a nazi they will never be. We are none of these titles. Concepts and ideas will be raised to higher concepts where thoughts will serve mankind vs mankind serving his thoughts.

Just utterly silly. The silliness of some posters on here amazes me. I am growing more skeptical of Obama everyday but I think it's going too far to call him a nazi.
