Reminds me of why I no longer buy the hometown newspaper. It's chock full of sappy, pretentious, inspirational ****. Where's the hard news that people need to know?

Hate to seem cold and heartless but I can only read so many stories about cancer survivors on the front page before I stop reading altogether. I want to see news that matter.

I think it is much bigger than that.
