I'm mad as hell!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WINDt...eature=related

Although anger is not the attitude to have, (at least for those who are aware) could it be the kick start or that rising up people need?? Will they then start seeking the truth?

we need something...I know we are supposed to turn inward for the answers, but I still feel we need a good leader to get this all started....

ask, for your essence/the highest piece of you

that often triggers the "good" leader to appear ;)

I look around on a daily basis at people with there habits and zombie like brainwashing actions and truly think WHAT is it going to take!

I go back and forth with the frustration. I know its not the right way to view it but damnit, I still get mad as hell!

It actually wears me out at times... Feel like camping. :winksmiley02:

The funny part is that this video was created in the 70's. It seems like the "people' have not gotten mad enough since then, not just yet. Maybe a World War 3, martial law, or economic collapse should do the trick.

Oh man, when I saw that title to the post I was like oh great a negative post, maybe I can help, wait a minute and I started saying it aloud before I clicked!

I AM MAD AS HELL AND I AM NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE. GET UP I SAY, GET UP AND GO TO THE WINDOW, OPEN IT, AND STICK YOUR HEAD OUT, AND YELL, AND SAY IT, I AM MAD AS HELL AND I AM NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!

I did that whole thing for open mic one night along with Alex Jones from Waking Life:

Haha, great thread. I love that movie. Still relevant after 32 years.

I even started a thread awhile ago just like it, I'll copy and paste the OP here.

Anyone seen "Network"?

They don't make 'em like that anymore.

Anyway, I was particularly "mad as hell" today when I saw that my favorite disc golf course at Jefferson Barracks park was closed for the afternoon, because the national gaurd was conducting training maneuvers. I know that normally this would not necessarily be something to worry about, but as we all know, as of Oct. 1, posse comitatus is ostensibly suspended and at least a moot point.

I would really hate to be a brand new enlisted private, when they hand me my new gun and say, "go point this at your nieghbor".
I am really interested to see if the ACLU's FOIA request garners any useful information.http://www.aclu.org/safefree/general...s20081021.html

So, I just stuck my head out the window and yelled. Nothing happened yet. Maybe you guys could try?

peace please.

The responses got a bit strange at the end and my last question was never answered. I'm still pretty confused about that.

p.s nothin' yet from the FOIA requset of course.

Rage Against the Machine .... "your anger is a gift" It could be the necessary emotion to trigger an awakening... but the revolution has to be of spirit and of peace.... Rage Against the Machine just protested and the democratic and republican national conventions.... they marched around the Pepsi center with a crowed full of protesters and really did a good job of keeping people peacefull.... then the cops showed and some people went to the clink.... Either way Rage has done a great job for a long time

Excellent point! Yes, any emotion to trigger an "awakening" or better said, trigger an act of responsibility. It seems that people like to stand for "something"...it seems it has been difficult (but rewarding) for "us" and time consuming to contemplate the truth so that we get a really good understanding. It would then be my guess that as the SHTF those who have either sat in there comfort chairs or denied the truth, will have an easier opportunity to let it all sink in.

Yeah, we will see what the ACLU says or does. Probably will get buried or better yet ignored.

History repeats itself eh? I love this clip and think it is as relevant today as it was back then. The only problem is once you yell and say you want things to change you need solutions to make things better. Kind of like Obama and his minions wanting change, change, change. But change to what? I guess we will find out.

The change we seek is the INTENTION we put out. " For the highest and best good of all". The rest will fall into place.

At the beginning of my process I was very angry and it motivated me to no end!
As knowledge came in I started to understand more of the bigger picture.
Then I chilled out quite a bit.

Re: I'm mad as hell!

Myself, I don't think I'll hang my head out the window to yell, but if I heard someone else yelling, I'd SMILE a lot. I tend to write letters. For instance, here's a note to the Chairman of Lloyd's of London (Peter Levine).

My Dear Lord,

Is this true? Does Lloyd's truly insure risk linked to the Burmese junta? If not, thank goodness! If so, please discretely wipe your hands of blood and suffering, while putting money in your pocket. No badness will be thanked. In fact, it will be boycotted.

A full disclosure of all Burma-related risks would be welcome, in order to ensure investor/public scrutiny and decisions. There absolutely must be alternate ways to earn a living, where one's occupation does not kill other people, e.g. farming and midwifery.

I also just CHAT up the day. So, when I'm at my local convenience store, with marketing TV monitors on either side of my head at the till, being irradiated by chewing gum promotions, I'll ask the guy, "You know, what's up with these monitors? They kind of, you know, clamp my head. I can't even see you there, because it's, um, this blinking gum and soda is blinding me." (Which is true, it's like a night vision effect.)

My kids know already. When I say, wow, that really pis*es me off, I'M GOING TO WRITE A LETTER. Maybe it's futile, but it cheers me immensely. The thing is, I often get letters back, thanking me or, if not that, then a show of engagement to begin dialogue. It's all good, I think.

There are still fights I have burning.
