Re: NIKKEI 225 (Japan) - 952.58 (-9.38%)
wow that's a huge drop. The dow jones was down -508 aswell. Just checked the news today Ftse -184. There has been some sort of bailout deal with the european banks which we the tax payer will pay for. The $850 billion bailout bill didn't go to wall street it went to foreign assets so what makes anyone think this european bailout will go to banks. Yet another bailout scam.

Re: NIKKEI 225 (Japan) - 952.58 (-9.38%)
What has happened this morning was a joint interest-rate cut, which at least here made the stockmarket go a little on the positive side. However, as I understand it, it was the interest of Central Banks that was lowered. Norwegian central bank are planning the same, but I don't see why that matters. Private banks still have raised their interest rates regardless of any lowering elsewhere.
