you'll see that at gold being around $888 US, a .5 ounce .999 gold "500 ameros" coin is listed there for $US 750.

if an ounce = $888
.5 ounce = $444
You're paying $750 - $444 = $306 investing in "collectability", and or future investment... (because it's gold)..


What Hal was saying is that in order to BUY an Amero.. he's hypothesizing that you'd get one ..when they hypothetically offer it to you when the dollar goes bust..
as where a dollar would be 2 cents in comparison.
I think you misinterpreted his last statement about the 2 cents thing.
it's where you'd get one Amero for every $50 dollars you'd have..

I think one big push of the Amero is.. is to remove smaller divisions of money..
Here in NZ it's a refreshing sight to see prices be exactly what they say!
no ... price being so and so..
then when the item is rung up.. it's that plus tax you hadn't thought of..
it's included..
and the prices are all in denominations of 10.
nothing less than 10 because there's no nickle or penny.
It's so much more convenient.

One good thing the Amero would do is this, I think.

but hell.. why can't we go back to sea shells as currency.

Good vide but that site the above poster linked to only sells collectable coins under the image and name of Amero.

and the original poster mentioned 'days' - dont be silly. even Alex Jones knows we have more than days til the dollar falls. 6 months?

yes maybe even a year.. they need to have the zimbabwae style hyper infsltion and stacks of notes to get people really ****** off before they can offer a solution.. the dollar will not be traded internationally maybe within weeks,but the usa will have trillions and trillions of notes flying around to wheel barrow around im sure..

Any sign of wheelbarrows and civil war would be likely. i cant see wheelbarrows, i think thwy would organise new currency before it got that bad, unless they were stupid and wanted civil uprising (which i understand is lokoing likely here and there for several reasons)
