Re: Silver coins

When I lived in the UK, I bought from EBAY and from Chards. Do a google on chards - they have some good UK specific data on Silver.

Be warned, you will need to pay 17.5% VAT on new silver on which you take physical delivery. Definately try to buy second hand silver if you can.

A..

Re: Silver coins

I found out today that only British coins older than 1920 are silver, coins minted after this date are a mix of silver and something else so don't bother buying them.
You can go to a coin dealer and buy his old not good enough to sell on the shelf silver coins for scrap value :original:
