This is an official newsbreak but I have been given special permission to write it in first person because I was witness to the events on the East Coast, which happened on last Thursday and Friday. This Newsbreak is going to be politically incorrect, but better truthful than PC. I am not allowed to say where the events occurred, in the "official newsbreak" any closer than the "East Coast." Dan's quotes will be in "yellow." Dan had me tape his comments, in the understanding that the tape would be and has been destroyed.
Just prior to Dan going to Mount Charleston, he was summoned to the East Coast for a "thinking session" by an Economics Committee for the New Group. They paid for the trip, the room, and food for him and me. Mostly for him, but I eat more UNLESS we're at a Chinese Buffet!
Dan was surprised because even in his own words he has "had only one Economics course, in college, and while I achieved an "A" that hardly suggests why I need to be there!"
We went there. On the way to the first meeting, after arriving at the airport, he asked me to stop the car at a drug store ~ pharmacy. He went in and bought something while I was getting a soft drink.
Dan and I talked a lot and he said he thought they maybe wanted some out of the box thinking or just because he can get the ear of most of the retired Maj, that maybe they wanted to get him to enlist their help? He didn't know.
When we arrived at about 0300 Friday morning, we went through "security" and the liaison was there to okay the storage of my personal weapon. I followed Dan in, and we were both wearing our Sunday finest!
In his case a suit. It looked a lot like this:

As he walked into the room, Dan stopped and looked around and said, "Where is Ron Paul?" That set a tone: dark. No one laughed and Dan didn't intend to get any laughs. One member replied to him. I can't quote the members, but Dan answered, "Well he should be, but he wouldn't accept anyway because he practices his patriotism on a daily basis, doesn't just preach it your smoke filled confessionals! Frankly I did expect to see at the very least one 'Bill' or one 'Hill' here. There are cigars in attendance and the room does have a glass ceiling!" (That got laughs. Anyone who has ever been in the same room as Dan knows that he has a direct and very forceful personality.)
The meeting started and Dan was asked his feelings about the $700B idea. They expected, I think, for Dan to sit there and be deferential. Mistake! He wasn't! To their wide eyes he rose to speak and went to the speakers' small podium, with a notebook and his old fashioned Fisher Space Pen, which is in his words his "last personal pen" , in his hands. (It's the original one from the 60's: the chrome bullet space pen he saw and wanted when he was a boy. His is privately engraved by Marci-Marci.

After arriving at the podium, he checked his coat pocket, and when he didn't find what he wanted, he held up his right index finger at them, and said, "Aaah, standby for just a second. By the way, my Security Chief is audio taping these events with my word of honor given as a former seated member, that it will not be copied, distributed in any form, and will be completely destroyed once my comments alone are transcribed." Then he walked back to me and unzipped his brief case, grabbed a small box from it, put it in his pocket and returned to the podium. I had no idea what he grabbed.
Dan made the statement about being a microbiologist and not an economist. Then he asked them why they summoned him? He said "Not that I mind the accommodations, they are really quite nice. I would prefer you place us in a less expensive hotel, a single room, and we can get along with a smaller food budget, without room service. Are you even remotely aware that many people are starving? Do you, could you even give a damn?"
He was told that their intentions were plain: they wanted to know his honest thoughts, and for starters about the effectiveness of the Candidate's participation.
Dan said, "Well, fine then. This is on your Dime, opinions you want, opinions you'll receive."
Dan launched into a measured tirade which included his belief that this was an "Illuminati conspiracy," using a "..useful idiot named George W. Bush, to justify the past yet concurrent lack of responsibility by those living above their economic means, and preyed upon by lenders looking for fast bucks while creating an insane and unsupported bubble. Behind the scenes, we have an attempt to steal more money, without oversight, and 2 Candidates, both with unjustified behavior: it's stunt played at bravado versus egocentrism played as near apathy, vote where you may! I do suggest they show, though, as the idiot summoned them. In either case they seem to be vying for a Musher's 'Least Respected Dog'."
The Chairperson asked Dan to continue. Dan opened his notebook. He had comments to enter into the record. (If there are any mistakes, they are my fault because I translated and typed it.)
"Shalom! Okay, while I cannot comment on the intimate aspects of the financial/economic particulars as I have no expertise in those areas, I can comment on the festering boil named the "NWO-Security State" placed specifically by the President, in a continuing effort to undermine the very fabric of our Republic, while centralizing himself as superior to the co-equal branches, where in my opinion the Congress should placed, that is in the center of a circle bounded by a circumference of the American People, and then with the Judiciary and Executive on either side of the Legislative. The burgeoning and fundamentally dysfunctional Security State and the continuance of policies of an ever-growing Imperial Presidency must be addressed, or one day and after considering the proper counsel from the writings of one of the Founders, Jefferson, even I may suggest a general rebellion.
While we remain most certainly at war, and must eradicate the functional attributes of Al-Qaeda, the movements by the Administration (and to some extent the Congress) to commit and acquiesce to a seemingly unending Global War, in the way that it has, while playing Tiddlywinks with our economy, and while doing everything possible to justify turning a blind-eye to outright theft from the American People: those behaviors, in my opinion rise to actions supporting Impeachment and Trial.
We, from (CENSORED), as you are aware, have been taking a close look at where "tea" (as an appropriate homage) is transported. I suspect that is also behind my being summoned here today.
As I see it, the flow of credit, given the realities of the excessive entanglements, must be re-established "somehow." Am I qualified to say how? No! But, just as one would not employ a previously convicted Bank Robber as an armed security guard at Bank of America, the American People are sure as hell not likely to provide a Treasury Secretary with $700B account and no one to look over their shoulder!
You are probably also aware of the Speaker's recent telephone calls, and perhaps rumors of just how certain former Majestic echelon may have suggested to their networks to encourage not only the arrival of 'We The People's' considerations, but their actual serious uptake. This should send a message to not only the Legislative, but also each of you.
What should you, members of this august body, do?
Do what Majestic failed to do for 60 years: stay out of the way of the Constitutional process, or perhaps find yourselves as the obstructionists rather than the white knights as you probably see yourselves. Likely, (as a metaphor only) a shot, a warning, will be fired over the bow of the Ship of State. I would humbly suggest you consider that as a warning that we (CENSORED) may have critical concerns as to your ultimate goals. Further, while I expect more than one legislation try, it is my suggestion that your best place should be -
(1) Concentrating on internal bank support, and central bank supports, and
(2) Making damned sure that the great sea of Nations, are "full court pressed" to sufficient understanding that any consideration of precipitous aggressive action against us during this self-created financial-economic "melt-down" will result in kind to them.
The arrogant posture of the Federal Government toward their own, THE GOVERNMENT, "We the People," is belied by the fact that they only govern with consent of the governed. I am assured by many sources as you are aware or I would not be standing here, that the United States Military (during a 'may God forbid' general rebellion) will not fire on the Old Glory, which formally composes and comprises 'a New Constellation in the heavens,' nor the "Minute-people" whose children will be scrambling for food, just as the children of the active military.
The Continuity of Government has in its mechanism and rubric, the provisions for more than one Constitutionally palliative proxy body. You may have noticed that at least one of such bodies has just virtually evaporated into thin air! The ____________ requested to know of their whereabouts, and that request has been denied. Don't ask me for their whereabouts as I do not know, but I would tell you the same thing even if I did. This is also why I have restricted the use of the OHC from these matters.
You neither need an oracle to make ethical and moral decisions, nor house cleaning, and if you are so devoid of common sense to require it for tacking toward right versus wrong, then you don't belong at this table.
As stated before, I am a microbiologist, not an economist. The problem, therefore may be framed by me in appropriate terms. You have a problem, well I have something for you!"
Dan stepped away from the podium and walked toward the committee. The Sergeant at Arms began to walk toward him, so he looked at the committee and said. "Look, you summoned me, and I am approaching the Committee to provide it suggestion! I understand that it is a breach of protocol, but I believe I am earned the right to provide this to you."
The Committee Chairperson told the Sergeant at Arms to step back, and Dan approached them face-to-face. He reached into his coat pocket and provided the box to the Chairperson.
The small box was passed back and forth, and the Committee was silent.
He handed them a box of EX-LAX!

After return to Las Vegas, Dan was transported to Mount Charleston, where he finally reported he got done with about 80% of the stuff he had to do.
