Do we know what this is about?
There is much more going in Afghanistan than we are led to believe, I have heard reports of huge underground structures and even giants from military people who served there. |

I still don't think anyone has got to the bottom of what the afghan war is all about, but it must be damned important given the amount of resources they have poured into it, I must check those other threads, thanx b :)

Re: heavy US losses in Afghan....
What do
They all thought they could invade, and conquer Afghanistan. They all got their butts handed to them! There is a reason for this. The reason should be intuitively obvious to us here in the U.S. of all people, for we share something very important with them. Or, at least we used to. There is NOTHING there to conquer! Afghanistan is not a country, by any western sense of the word. Afghanistan is an "area" populated by hundreds of tribes, largely from 3 ethnic origins, who for over 2,000 years have only stopped fighting among themselves for one reason: To beat to a pulp, anyone who is foolish enough to dare invade/interrupt them. Ever hear the term: "Don't Tread On Me" ? How about, "Abandon ye all hope who enter here." ? |
