Yesterday I somehow came across old comedy videos while browsing the net.
The first thing I noticed was that the actors were not what the mainstream considers the ideal looking people, plastic botoxed photoshopped and starved. Far from it, but they were all so genuine and real compared to the stuff we are fed nowadays. It was so refreshing to see.
And I'm glad to see this happening more now in the mainstream of today, more proof times really are getting better. :thumb_yello:

Well spotted Karen. I don't know if its me or is the world somehow changing. As Phtha said There seems to be more and more ordinary looking people "coming out" and absolutely blowing most of us away with their hidden/latent talents. Another that comes to mind (I do not wish to take the wind out of your sail Karen) is Paul Potts who absolutely blew everybody away when he sang 'Nessun Dorma' on Britains got talent.

This was like a slap in the face for Simon, so many times these so called talented people are put through sometimes i'm sure just to get a laugh from the audience if they are slightly different than the so called (norm)

What a lovely lady i watched the show she really blew me away, this type of talent is everywhere in all walks of life shame only the few make it.
She deserves to go far, i hear she may be invited on the Oprah Winfrey show in the USA if she does she will be made for life i think.
Leona Lewis was a guest also a former Talent contest winner Oprah made her a household name overnight.

The latest is that Simon Cowell wants Barrack Obama in a reality show!!!
It has been put to him frankly i feel it isn't a wise thing to do but maybe he will think it will push him further in the media and they may play on the family man bit.

Just watched this again and was just as blown away as the first time. Amazing performance, wonderful attitude, and a well deserved reaction from the audience and judges. Susan Boyle rocks.
