Nexus music poll - please vote

Hello there!

It is being discussed as to whether to make the audio for the event a little longer, and to have some more specially-composed music added to Phied's piece to compliment it and also to smoothly extend the depth of our excurisons.

This poll is about what length of linear [!] time you feel is best for you.

Please vote asap!

Thank you, and love to you ALL.

Hi guys,

Sorry if I misunderstand what you are trying to do, but I must air my concerns as to the way in which the thing is being led.

For all to follow in one way is as bad athe NWO. Maybe a little harsh but there should only be the encouragement to meditation, not a docterine to meditation and a way to act and proceed.

As I say sorry if I am being harsh but this is really the wrong way round.

Lawless I understand your concern,

As I posted on the feedback thread:
We are all different and may experience very different things during our meditations .
No matter how the divine energy chooses to express itself through each of us during this process ,
Love the unifying field in our essence is always the same.
In the end each one has to find it's own way to get there because the path to go through before reaching this sense of Oneness may be different for all.
There is no room for judgement or leadership here just a goal to reach and it can only be done from within.

Guys. I voted for two hours but let me note this: It's not necessary to have 2 hours of music for a two hour meditation is it?
Let's incorporate a 'ritual' (even though I hate that word slowly) of cleansing, calming, deepening, being, and THEN get the healing started...
So how about 30, 60, 30 or 60, 60 splits?
I'd be up for 60 60 but people might get bored if it doesn't start after 30 mins.

Czymra,

That makes 2 of us having voted for two hours.
However it seems so far that the majority has voted for the 1 hour meditation set before.
Your are right that we would'nt need a music file which would cover the added time.
Silence is fine as well.
I guess that those who want to make it longer can do so by their own and then join in a worldwide round at the appointed time.
That might even be an interesting experience too.

Now you better start an hour early so that I can wrap up my discipline and at least imagine you're sitting there 'with me'. ;)

I voted for one hour....

A lot of us doing this healing meditation (like myself)
might not be 'regular' meditators.

I think that a one hour focus is just fine.

Some may want to go on longer. Or 'do' a build up period.

That would be a good contribution to the one-hour-focus.

Personally....2 hours would be too long for me.
And a lot of other people I suspect...but we'll see what
the poll results say.

I don't think anyone is saying it HAS to be done this way.

For example...if someone doesn't want to listen to the music
there is nothing stopping them playing their own music....or
just having silence.

It is the TIMING of it....doing what-ever we want to...TOGETHER
...that is the centre of it all.

But even saying that...some people might not be able to fit the
meditation in at the special time. I think if they do it when-ever
they can.....this is STILL good.

Space and time being a mysterious thing....and all that.

looks like we are going to keep it as it is...i do think that once we start trying to do a wave around the earth it would make sense to make the meditations at least an hour an a half so the time zones overlap a little...that way it would kinda be like handing over a baton of energy to the next time zone

i guess we will decide on whether to do a wave or not when that time comes too tho

peace,
mikey

Since I am new to meditating I voted for 1 hour. However I feel I will be able to extend the time in the coming weeks, building to two hours by May.

Re: Nexus music poll - please vote

At this stage we need to gain mass. More than one hour will scare many people off. I think 1 hour is quite long enough. The mass of people that participate is much more important in my view. The Nexus2012 thread has close to 200 000 views(!). Think of that. We need to simplify things so as many people as possible feel that they are able to participate. We should minimize changes at this stage. Stick with 1 hour meditation. We have the potential to create perhaps the largest global mass meditation ever practiced once a week. In my view all the focus should be on gaining as many people as possible at this stage. How people meditate and the music they listen to (or not) is secondary. The power of numbers unified behind a coherent peaceful intent is far greater than the power of any technics/technicalities.

Thanks,

Sanat
