OK, this may be the strongest I have ever heard Gerald Celente speak!

He addresses a lot of issues and offers his trend forecast.

"Current events form future trends."

In 2009 were going to see the worst economic collapse ever, the Greatest Depression, says Gerald Celente, U.S. trend forecaster. He believes its going to be very violent in the U.S., including there being a tax revolt.

Yet more negative-orientated fear mongering.

I don't know why I still bother to point this out. The responses (even mine) are predictable with people throwing in their own survival tips or screaming that the sky is falling/gonna fall, etc.

I find your response to be quite unconstructive.

I understand your point, however, I think the reason people post this is
because many here are very concerned about our near future and thus keep a keen eye on the news.
If there is any reason not to take Gerald Celente seriously, please tell us.

We are all concerned but some of us choose not to give attention to negative stories and viewpoints.

Celente pulled no punches in THAT interview!!

I enjoy the "doom and gloom" reporters to some extent because at least its real....we can take it or leave it, but at least we are AWARE and can PREPARE (if we want).

I have stopped watching tv and don't read newspapers as i am fed up with the next Britney Spears story which the dumbed down masses seem to think is interesting....

And its absurd to think that any serious reporter today would say that there's nothing wrong with the world!!

Its just tough for your average (but aware) punter like me to force change...but i want to hear the truth.

Maybe its time for me to enter politics....
