Rage Against The Machine--------Terrorists, I don't think so. The message has always rung true for me. Their lyrics have always been the truth. The problem is that the truth hurts. Zach De La Roch (sp) has always had some anger with the way we, as a nation, have been lied to, stolen from, and taxed to the point of poverty. It's time for this country to wake up and see the reality of what is now out in the open for all Americans to clearly see. We Have been fleeced, and now we must "SLEEP NOW IN THE FIRE" :mad3::mad3::mad3:

One of my favorite bands ever. In fact, when I first started following politics out of high school, I listened to a lot of RATM and read about the causes they discussed, especially Leonard Peltier (see the video for "Freedom") and the fact that there appeared to be no difference between Bush and Gore (which is why I voted for Nader in my first presidential election..2000).

I think they are needed even more with all the chaos in the world. The music itself is a soundtrack to the anger of the common citizen. A rallying cry if you will.

In that case, mine has always been set to music with themes of rebellion. Always. As I grow older, there's room for love and harmony but rebellion is still a dominating factor.
