Obama wants to avoid 'trade war'
 
US President Barack Obama says he wants to avoid measures which would signal protectionism or spark a trade war.

Yeah, well, we've outsourced everything else, let's just outsource all of it. Obama doesn't understand the value in supporting our country's manufacturing, what little there is left of it. <sigh>

Obama cannot directly solve this problem. The blame lies on the shoulders of companies who wanted to save money by outsourcing labor.

But it also lies on the government for not corralling the companies. (I guess that would be called "regulation" -) - Companies are, by their very nature, sociopathic. It requires a governance that truly is of, by and for the people, to offset that sociopathy and make it all come together. JMHO

When you look at 8 years of Republican rule, it's no surprise that companies have continued to do their dirty deeds. Hell, it goes back further than that to the passage of NAFTA under Clinton.

If the government controlled the markets, people would cry "socialism! ahhh!!!" as always because there are people who are still stupid enough to believe that leaving the market alone will benefit people (when clearly, it hasn't!).
