reiki

Wondering if anyone else does Reiki here and how much they use it :) as it is a new section I thought I'd be the first to post...

Yes, I use it to balance myself and to treat loved ones.

Re: reiki

i've been practicing reiki for over 10 years. when i first learned it, i was amazed at how powerful it is. i've sent distant healing to people that didn't know i was sending it with remarkable results. i do self healing techniques every day. in some ways i've come to take it for granted, but in retrospect, i can say that it's had a profound effect on my life. what's really nice is when you give it to others, you receive it as well, as it flows through you.

Re: reiki

We have many threads related to Reiki here.
We have many degree-holders to give absent healing.
Never ever give up, we are here.

Re: reiki

I started Reiki nightclasses back in January, done part 1 & 2, and we still meet up weekly since.
Found it very helpful for 'recharging my batteries' and helped deal with stress no end! Reiki has helped 'consolidate' everything I had experienced / done within the Spiritualist stuff over the years.

I keep a wee book of folk that are in need & send absent healing... when I have time / peace!

{Like the avatar- remember the episode where Fat Freddy tried to fry an apricot?! LOL}

Universal life-force energy

An ancient gift from above

Radiates from out the hands

Applied to each with love

We are, but the circuit

To help the body mend

Its not us who stand as healers

Its the energy we send

Our Reiki hands stand ready

For what service they may do

For when we're helping others

We feel a healing to.

Love Always

i am third degree reiki and have done some teaching over the last 20 years, in addition to including reiki in my massage therapy classes. i no longer have a private practice and now generally only work on family and friends.

Re: reiki

Reiki might be a bit much for me at this time. I wish I had another K awakening. Perhaps one per life is enough... I don't know. All I know is that I feel like a truck hit me now that I home from the hospital.... still got a ways to go. I would accept will gratitude if my name was on the healing list.

Love to All
