What the world eats

This is from a great Time Magazine article..

It is a picture essay of family's from around the world, with one weeks groceries sitting in front of them...

i have showed this to my kids and have created great conversations...

One of the fascinating conclusions we had...was how the poorer countries almost "seemed" to have a better diet...their food might be minimal, but it has 0 chemicals...

Here is a sample i believe the countries are, Mexico, USA, Chad, Japan and Kuwait

At the site they quote the cost..and the families favorite recipe...

It is a great conversation starter!!

It gives such a different perspective...

Now i know there are people starving to death in most of these countries...but..

When i look at Chad, Tibet etc...i find myself looking at "clean food"...

no additives...no advertising...no PACKAGING!!!
