Blue Note the label? As in Donald Bryd? Thanks for reminding me. I LOVE that record company... there spirit broke ground in both jazz and pop (blues.. all kinds of urban music).

On a different note... there was a thread about a love poem somewhere.... can't find it now, but I think this song is right for the times, all the same.

Answering my own post here - I just can't hold back on Trees. There's a sad beauty to their music.

Back then, a lot of people who were Trees fans as kids, later became original inovators of the early "gothic" sound and culture. Not the "daeth rock" monster music, but the more introspective, poetic side - as in the actual Gothic literature. Does anybody know what I'm getting at?
