URGENT....NOTICE to any Florida Veteran....
*** Sheep Issue appears resolved ***
The Palm Beach County has decided my miniature sheep of 45 pounds are considered livestock instead of pets...I must give them away before January 1st....So I am asking that any Veteran that lives on Agricultural land that wants the couple(M/F) pls contact me FOR FREE...I am WPB,FLA...Pls contact me at e-mail: Samarkis@yahoo.com..........(Put FREE SHEEP in the subject...) .they were to start a herd for my organic farm community for Young Veterans.....I am very sad about this... but I will do this again when I have the land...... I can not believe how mean my neighbors are...But I have lived amongst them for 15 yrs and this is what they do to me & my project..........for Shame!!! Needless to say..... I will be resigning from my Master Gardening Training Program at the County directly in relation to this...I do not feel like donating 80 hours of my time to an entity that feels this is such an issue....mini-sheep are more pets than livestock...... |
Re: URGENT....NOTICE to any Florida Veteran....
The M/F are Mini shetland sheep with pedigree papers....they are considered an endangered species as well....sigh...

The sheep are mine...the picture of sheep(Karen's post) is not mine....Mine are miniature shetland sheep....two feet long by 1 1/2 feet tall....40-45 pounds....
Edited: Here is me in my back yard w/ my mini sheep....apparently my neighbors and county are terrified of them!! http://projectavalon.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=8163 You can see a bit bigger pic at my profile page.... |

Re: URGENT....NOTICE to any Florida Veteran....
Samarkis,
I will have to find out if this person is a veteran, but I know of a couple in North Florida that raise miniature horses and bring them to hospitals and other events to uplift spirits. Perhaps they would be interested. I will let you know by tomorrow hopefully. PaL |

Tks PaL for sharing those websites with us here. I could look at those beautiful little horses all day. Don't think I have ever seen a horse with blue eyes. I love all the animals.
