I am always amazed when I watch a drummer in full flight Dan. :shocked: His feet and hands are all moving in different ways and tempos and he obviously can't watch what each one is doing. :sweatdrop: I was particularly taken with his "cross hands" technique half way through that number. Fantastic. :original:

Years ago Dan, during the 1950s, I heard Ronnie Verrell on drums. He was playing with Ted Heath's Orchestra and man could he beat those skins. The only reference I could find on him and Buddy Rich was when they played against each other on the Muppets show. Buddy played himself, while Ronnie played Animal. The only clips I can find of the show claim they are playing at half speed - if that's the case, I'd like to see and hear them at full speed.

I'm impressed with anyone who can paint images that are true to life Dan - I don't care if they are human or not.

Having seen this, it occurs to me that maybe all of the cave paintings that have been attribute to ancient mankind, may in fact, have been created by these fellows. :original:
