Who's paying for all this? Check your pockets and make sure they haven't been picked. :nono:

Oops, I missed the 11,111,111,111,111.11 mark!

This second at: $11,284,274,430,302.37

CBO (Congressional Budget Office) Forecasts Even Larger Deficits
The CBO forecasts much larger deficits than it did just a month ago due to newly announced programs and bailout spending. The CBO now estimates the budget deficit for 2009 will be an astonishing $1.845 trillion. Read more…http://perotcharts.com/2009/02/proje...stimulus-bill/

It's probably higher than that now, considering the new Freddie Mac bailout request.

I was reviewing today's June 13th Debt Per Citizen $37,104 compared to May 15th when the Debt Per Citizen was $36,925

THAT'S UP $179.00 in 29 days per citizen (taxpayer or not)...amazing :sneaky2:

The Missing Money

Catherine and News & Commentary, June 13, 2009 at 10:06 pm

Wayne Gretsky once said, when asked the secret of his success at ice hockey, “I skate to where the puck will be.”

It is for the same reason I keep bringing up the issue of money missing from the US federal government and the possibility that collateral fraud and counterfeiting of US government and agency securities were instrumental in facilitating the transfers.

If we simply accept as a given books and records that are not reliable when there is significant evidence that vast sums have been stolen or transferred illegally, we will find ourselves being controlled and bought with the very money stolen from us.

We will endure the ultimate leveraged buyout in the history of our civilization.

This one financial issue will be an important determining factor as to whether our children and grandchildren will live as free men and women or not.

But it is too late, say some, as the money is gone. Actually, it is not too late to recapture funds. If liabilities were illegally or fraudulently originated, we may not be liable for them. In addition, if we are still interacting with liable parties with assets, we can create rights of set-aside for those responsible.

I am inspired by the story last week of the Italian seizure of billions in US bonds from two Japanese crossing the boarder into Switzerland . Max Keiser Comments (Actually the link did not work but I think the Keiser MP3 I found is the one she was referring to, I'll check later to see if that link is updated.)

Do you think it is impossible for billions, if not trillions, of counterfeit or unrecorded sovereign and agency bonds to be issued and floating around the world?

Think again…

Oops forgot to check at 30 days later, so now 38 days later the debt per citizen has gone up $307 dollars. As of today 7/21 the debt per citizen no matter your age, is now $37,411. I feel sorry for those babies being born in debt.

Here we are again, 8/21, roughly 30 days later and the DEBT PER CITIZEN is now $38,200, an INCREASE of $789.00!

MORE than DOUBLE over last month which was nearly DOUBLE over the month prior. :nono:

Is this going to be a trend in the months ahead?

I was in an e-mail discussion a few days ago and some one made this comment below

"Other things I wonder a little about we as UK have more debt than California, with less income. They are in a terrible financial state, why aren't we?"

An I replied with the following:

We are in just as much do do… Our manipulated media is blatantly lying to us and is covering it all up so we can re-invest in the doomed market ahead!!! It can't be long now before the collapse…

http://cluaran.free.fr/debt.html UK debt clock...

http://blog.209software.com/2009/02/...ebt-clock.html California debt clock

http://www.babylontoday.com/national_debt_clock.htm US debt clock…

It will ALL go pear shaped… the green shoots of recovery and the 0.3% rises are all based on consumerism and car scrappage schemes…
growing your own food and protecting your wealth in what ever way you can is the way forward… Unless F... pulls it's fingers out it will be in the same state as GM and C !!! Your pensions will be in the same boat as V…'s. Pensions only work if people pay into them!!! They are a Ponzi scheme too!!!

Sitting in the headlights like a stunned rabbit is all well and good but doing nothing will end in road kill… I've done what I can… I've fixed my mortgage at 4.2% for 5 years. I've got out of the stock market and I've taken control of my own pension (this takes months and may not be possible now…). There will not be a system left like we have been told in months to come… prepare or be road kill… simple as.

I've edited it slightly and missed out the true names of F and V :) but anyone in the know will know. I know this isn't strictly US related but just highlights how manipulated people are... I've been telling them for ~10 months the above and they all agree but do nothing... they seem to be :sleep_1: with their eyes open...

My previous post was 8/21 when the 'official' (yeah right) Debt Per Citizen (slave) was $38,200.

As of today, September 24th, the Debt Per Citizen has risen to $38,475.

Wow, only an increase of $275.00...I guess we should feel relieved... :mf_pain::mfr_lol:...

nowhere near the increase of $789.00 last month. :mfr_omg:

Yeah and people used to make fun about Zimbabwe, and what is strange, Zimbabwe also have something called "Reserve Bank". This could lead to idea that any country with "reserve bank" will end up like this? :mfr_omg:

Re: What is the US National Debt this Minute?

Oh my gosh! $12 Trillion!

We should be so lucky!

In your dreams! http://fredsitelive.com/fun/rofl.gif

First of all, that is only the amount of debt government acknowledges. Remember that govt has long ago switched to a "peek-a-boo" system of determining what is, and isn't debt.

I'll get to "reality" in a second, but for now, let's go with that $12T figure.

It means that right now, every man, woman, & child in the country basically is $52,000 in debt, before they get to their personal finances.

Next comes the rate at which we are going into debt.
If you have a toddler age child right now, by the time they reach college age, each one of them (and everybody else) will be carrying $400,000 on their back!

A brief explanation of why this can no longer continue, in the form of a simple question:
Do you see anyone doing anything that will result in an economy 8 times larger than what we have today? (and I mean before/without inflation)
What that indicates is the amount of money that will not be available for anything else, because the government is going to have to vaccum it off in taxes just to service debt.

Think about it this way;
Where, in such an environment is a nation of college-age kids, already carrying $400k in debt, going to go for student loans?
And who, in their right mind, would loan it to them?

And now, "Reality";
If you go through government's books the way ea. of us, and every business in the country has to, instead of the "fairy tale method" Congress uses, you wouldn't talk in terms of, or use their definition of debt.

You would look at the "total financial obligation" of the entity. When you do that for the US Gooberment, that includes all the Social Security payments, and medicare payments "promised" in the future. When you do that we are not $12T in the hole.

We are roughly $60 Trillion in debt!

And neither political power in fashion will STOP Spending!!
When you add up, state, federal, and local taxes, and fees, the majority of us are already forking over 50% of what we earn to government. They obviously don't think that's enough, or they would STOP Spending!! To this they continually add the insult that we are a "free people".

Compare that to the fact feudal serfs only paid 25-30%. ;)

Have a nice day :D

Fred

Hi Fred, I appreciate your analyses. Just add a few hundred Trillions to your total amount.
Also have been discussions of fraudulent creation of debt, derivative totalizing more than 5000 of TRILLIONS???? :mfr_omg:

Fredkc 09-25-2009 10:35 PM

Re: What is the US National Debt this Minute?

Hi ArtVision;

Yeah, I left that one alone. One problem at a time, I figgered. Also, when you start talking derivatives most people start gettin' that 1000-mile stare

Fact is, pumping Trillions, at most of the "too big to fail" banks is nothing but a complete rip-off. The ones hip-deep in derivatives are hopelessly insolvent.

Simple case in point:
in 2002 J P Morgan held stockholder assets totalling roughly $49 Billion.
They also held approximately $120 Trillion (yes, with a T) in derivative notes.
In other words they are approximately 750:1 upside down!

To bring that home:
Imagine having a $48,000 net worth and your debts totaled $36,000,000.

Gee, you'd best keep up the payments, huh? ;)

Lastly, the last figure I heard on it, the total in derivatives, held by the world's major banks was something like $1.2 Quadrillion. (Important to learn a new word, every day, huh?) http://fredsitelive.com/fun/rofl.gif

Re: What is the US National Debt this Minute?

PeaceAndLove;
"Per Taxpayer Debt is currently$110,344"

It seems we are on track for a financial observation I read about 1 year ago. Fortunately the current "track" is unsustainable.

Observation was that, if you have toddler to pre-school aged children now, that by the time they reach college age, each of them (and all of us) will be carrying a govt debt load of approximately $400,000 !

For a moment, forget trying to make the figure "real" to people, it is easily done by asking two questions:
1. What bank with any ration of sanity would loan anyone carrying that kind of debt load, from gitgo, the money to go to college?

2. With government having removed that much money from the economy, what bank would even have it to loan?

Incidentally you might enjoy my musings on the Oct 25 thread.
