People on this planet..are so primitive, superstitious and ignorant it is truly breath-taking. In a world of light and information millions of people were cowering inside their houses praying (and missing the beautiful opportunity of a lifetime) that the dragon-demon would go away and stop 'swallowing the sun'.. even supposed enlightened buddhist countries like Thailand viewed the event a 'a bad omen'.. :nono: of course it was only the religious leaders that were spreading this shameful disinformation, and many people who were not weighed down by the burdens of false dogma watched this magical transformative event and rejoiced. :original:

I don't come into the Lounge very often. Actually, I hardly drink. I don't know what happened. I saw your toast and felt quite shocked. Sometimes the problem with internet friendships is that they can only go so far. I really regret that, but it is what it is here on the word wide web. The topics we discuss are not the safest either, given the government secrecy with ufology, military etc. (I turned off PM capability when I joined and with 3 exceptions haven't spoken to anyone privately. An on-the-board kind of person.) As a female, there's always that too.

That said, I have often wished that I could just ask how you're doing. Anyway, not possible. Thank you for the toast. (I'm not sure if I would be included among Avalon your friends, but I read it.) I love that you speak your mind, heart and soul. I will miss you terribly. :sad: I hope you're OK :sad:
