Santa Clarita/San Fernando Valley California Group?
 

It seems like the Southern California response was too widespread to adequately establish just one group meeting. A seperate group is forming for San Diego and Riverside Counties.

How about we try to start a group for members who live in the San Fernando Valley or the Santa Clarita Valley?

So far, we have Brook and me. Are there any others?

You can count two here, in the sfv. My husband & I are both here on Avalon.

I'm so glad you started this thread. I know Santa Clarita Valley is in deep slumber. I've seen several members here from San Fernando Valley so lets hope we start seeing more out there.

Nice to meet you.. hang in there, we'll start seeing some response. I feel we need to prepare the agenda for the meeting. This subject matter is all so overwhelming, we don't just want to meet and get lost in subject matter. Any ideas for preparing prior to meeting?

I live between Glendale & Pasadena (Eagle Rock area)... if you guys have a meetup, I may be able to drive out to attend.

3Graces, and I are talking about setting a date for a week from Sunday meeting. That would be November 2nd.

I'm surprised there are not more out there in these areas. Anyone else out there ? let us know, because we're ready to get prepared.:welcomeani:

Got your message. A week from Sunday does not work for us. It would have to be the following, Nov 9th.
You could go into the So.Cal thread and pm the sfv & sc members that way.
Perhaps they aren't aware this thread exists.
As far as formatting the meeting, maybe people could begin by writing down questions they have to ask other like minded people.
My husband & I met with some people from here about a month ago, there was no real structure to the meeting, but it was successful in that we all left feeling much better for having been in each others company.
Gotta start somewhere, yes?

I think we should just meet up first and see how everyone clicks together. From there we'll figure out on what to focus on... it'll all come together naturally.
