This is the third time I have tried to make this thread.

Just curious as to what people on here do for a living. I work in a library.

I install and remove temporary boat lifts and piers. Hard, cold, And wet alot of job security though.

well eyes (fellow sussex person :thumb_yello:), i did mentel health nursing (then couldnt do shift/ward work due to becomeing ill with ME, so went and did four years psychotherapy training (plus hypnotherapy on top)......continued my practice untill my eldest was born. now am a full time mum (on my own) and when my youngest goes to school will work from home, but in a more holistic way, currently doing a herbology diploma and plan to use that along side other things. my dream is to be a working witch.....mad i know, but healing is what i enjoy doing on any level

retire military , I have the priviledge to be mr. mom for two of my children and work on my tan in the beautiful beaches of Puerto Rico. Is hard work but someone has to do it.:surfing:

Was lucky with this job, i dont have any qualifications on paper, but have been fascinated with computer's since i was a kid and have had an IT job previously. Got employed by the Government, they actualy picked me because i diddnt have any qualificatoins?? and will be putting me thru some MS training as they get it for free if i pass.

Theater director, acting coach, playwright, author. Funny, when given the aptitude test in high school, I was steered toward microbiology.

Got bitten by the “Theatre bug “ at early age ... decided to study this art and to become an actor... few years ago started teaching and directing ... In spare time love to paint ... took aromatherapy and reflexology courses on the side :original:

Built retail fixtures for retail stores for 12 years and remodeled retail stores as well, now I own welding shop and service repo'd homes. Lots of them .

I was a musician...but damned hard to make a living at that (especially in England). More recently....after early 40's mid life crisis....volunteered in drug and alcohol counselling and find myself now protecting tenancies for vulnerable adults for a homelessness charity. Not sure how I got where I am...but can honestly say...I am making a small difference and enjoy it. :original:

Former union electrician from NYC. I worked in the World Trade Center Just previous to the collapse in 2001. I quit my job in disgust after being severely disturbed by the events of 911 and the official explanation. It caused me to question everything about myself, my direction in life and my contribution to humanity. I moved to California to in January of 2002 to pursue music and film because it was a childhood dream. I just released my first CD a few months ago. Also just recently became certified in nutritional balancing and hair mineral analysis because I am interested in doing some work in the natural healing arts.

I am a teacher of the school variety. I teach Religious Education to 11-16yr olds and Psychology to 16-18 yr olds.

taxi driver ( nite time only )-( 10 years this Feb 1st )
lots of drunk folks, not as fun as it sounds ..
especially now ,not enough work and to many other drivers.
I have listened to many Coast to Coast radio shows.
And now I am burning or mp3player many interviews
that are out there even U-tube etc then convert audio to mp3 ..
especially cool when the very occasional passenger will listen to
what I have to say about the Dollar Death , 911 , The invisible control,
distractions,programming all around us.

Would really like to do more in the HEALING Arts,
Just bought a scenar device from Russia. However one can heal with-out
pills I am interested in it .....

I have a MSc degree in DNA, and working in a CSI-kind of lab. Love my job, bur don`t know how long I will keep it due to politics here in Norway...! Would be nice to be a witch, though:mfr_lol:!

I get to play with knobs doing sound at a little Bar & Grill on "The Drive",
also build Drupal web apps for artists/businesses/miningcompanies
-Totally happy working for myself, doing what I enjoy. :cup:

I supervise the demolition of hazardous materials...ie. Asbestos, Lead paint.
Enforcing EPA and OSHA codes on military installations.
