What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
I am starting this thread with the intent of a healthy exchange
and discussion of some of the fears that we have in the hope that doing so will lessen their effect on our energy. Rather than a fear-fest, I am suggesting a candid, open exchange of our individual fears about what we are experiencing and where we are going. A logical progression of this discussion could also include what hopes we are holding onto. I think we will find that many of us have the same fears and feel less alone. I'll start. I fear:
I think it's worth nothing that there will come a time and place where I will be able to look at all of the things I was afraid of, and just laugh..... :lmao: Now, what are you afraid of? |

Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
Strangely enough, I don't fear anything that you have listed. But maybe that's because I have my head in the sand!
My fears are very personal, and are things I'm trying desperately to overcome in order to lead a happy life. I fear people, I find it hard to trust, I fear their judgements. This has forced me to live a rather uneventful life thus far. My girlfriend is always asking to go places, do things and I constantly make excuses not to. I know the reason why - I'm scared! I don't know what has happened to cause this, I've never been a particularly outgoing individual but I've always had friends, a supportive family, etc. However, I can feel a change coming on and I'm about to embrace it with open arms. No, fear is not normal for everyone. And it's gobbled up by the entities which promote it. One can turn around, throw open the door where such things on your list are, and shine the light in that dark closet. Anchor and many others here say over and over, "Don't dwell on what you don't want." Let's lift the veil of our amnesia and know no fear. Love Always, Bushycat |
Intention vs reality
I have always found that denial works well in a crisis, but serves
as a block over the longer term. Acknowledging things we are afraid of can open the way to healing. I agree that one has to be careful of focus-it leads to manifestation. There are those without fear, and those who experience it but do not allow it to control them. I am one of the latter, and I know in that I am not alone. This was not intended as a debate regarding the merits of fear or lack thereof, merely as a place to share for those inclined. For those with constructive comments, I thank you! :original: |

Ok, lets flip things around.
I hope: 1. That things will just keep getting better 2. That the ascension process and 2012 will be well worth the inconvenience and wait and that we will see fundamental, lasting change 3. That the current game won't stick around for a long time to come, and all of the changes I have made in preparation for the shift will pay off 4. That if I decide to reinvest in this game, it will be for the right reasons 5. That when my time is up, I have the free will choice to stay or leave 6. That I will be where I am supposed to be when at the right time 7. That I not only have a ticket, but have boarded the boat and on voyage! 8. That my contributions will combine with those of others to effect positive change. 9. All of my questions will be answered at the appropriate time :thumb_yello: |

Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
I'm afraid for international friendship as a whole. First of all, since Wall Street mucked up as badly as we know by now, will the rest of world judge the average working American for not preventing such corruption? Will folks in other countries realize that the top of that pyramid was so high that we couldn't even see it, let alone do anything about it? That we are as angry and frustrated as the rest of the world over this? Most open hearted people around me are not even aware of the disdain and hatred, and so they go about their merry way, visiting the UK, the continent, Asia, and so forth. I'm afraid that the Americans are so very unaware of their present position in terms of attitude toward them. Anybody care to tell me I'm just paranoid?

Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
Hello Fiiish.
There is two kind of fears. The first comes from something real, right in front of you, at the moment, in the now. It makes you act, it gives you adrenaline and get your butt out of the way faster then you could ever imagine. Your heart beats at 300 but you have the adrenaline to maintain it for a while. It is instinctive. This fear is a natural mechanism for survival. When extreme, you can jump 6 feet in the air. You can crush a wooden door, you can turn a car upside down. I already experienced it. It is real and very useful. Now, about the second kind. The second kind of fear is the most common. The one we always talk about. The one that is there because we are not it the NOW. The one that is psychological and instead of making your butt to fly, it sticks you into the ground like if you were stuck into a hole of mud. Fear of something very active in our head, but not real, at least not yet. This fear keeps your focus very active, all creative energy gathering around the thought you fear to happen. Then boom... It is there. Observe the wild animals. Fear makes them run extremely fast, in the good direction. When the danger is gone, they become calm again like if nothing had happened. Namaste, Steven |

Linda,
First, thank you for sharing. Second, I think your concerns are legitimate, but the damage can be undone in time. Steven, I agree completely. Fear can serve us, or we can serve it. |

Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
Fear is something we have lived with for such a long time, fear of hunger, our families well fair, our friends, the hungry the poor, victims of natural disasters and the monetary system. The list is endless.
How will we ever forget our fears when we have lived a life of fear for so long? |

Living without fear is certainly not easy. Some would say it's damn near impossible. But I am working on it. I can see a time when we are no longer being bombarded with frequencies designed to keep us in a state of fear. It will be much easier then. In the meantime, I have found it helpful to be very selective about what I let in, particularly with the mainstream media. |
Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
Good lil thread
Fear and love...thats all we experience. Yes there are many sub-groups/tenticals of these two emotions. What helps me greatly is to remind myself that I only have control over myself/higherself/ego. Im a father of two daughters and this has taught me major lessons in energy/love, reactive respones, and what I can control...my own energy We also must foRgive ourselves and remind ourselves that we have been DUPED. Imagine if we were introduced, while in the womb, to all the real stuff. Who we really are, our connection to everything, without fear without the DIMM, Deception, Illusion, manipulation, and mind control... I truely do not fear anything like I used too. Thats what awakening has done for me, because I now realise I have been Duped. I have forgiven my self. peace |

I'm very proud of all of you... Right now... With love, Tango |
Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
Here are my fears
For my young adult children, my son a pilot in TX and my daughter who just started college in MI. I fear I will not be with them when tshtf and I fear for them. I fear for my family and friends, you know, the ones who don't listen about what is going on. I fear for them b/c I can see them trusting the gov about taking vaccines, believing false flag terrorism, etc. They still think the gov is there to protect them. I fear for myself b/c I hope I will be able to be the calm in the storm when all hell breaks loose, that I will be where I am supposed to be, hopefully with my kids and will be able to do what I came here for. I fear that I am prepared enough, but like Clif High said, you can be totally prepared with enough food, water etc then be blown some miles away due to some kind of emergency situation and land in the middle of nowhere with nothing and have to start over. Maybe over-preparation is over-rated anyway. I still get fear feelings in the pit of my stomach but I don't feel like I am fearful, so I don't know where that is coming from since it is not from listening to news or reading anything dreadful. Sometimes the feeling just comes up and then disappears. It may be that I am clearing some energy through my third chakra. My hopes are that we come together as a global society away from government/corporate rule. Where we respect one another and allow for another's point of view without fighting and where everyone can live a abundant and happy life without a consumerism mentality. I really don't see that happening unless the entire system breaks down, which it is doing already...destruction-creation. |
Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
Right on Target Tango. We didn't arrive here because we were afraid. I also request "FIIISH" be removed from this forum. Nothing personal, but I see no good with this attitude. This is not what Avalon is about.

Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
Truth,
Thank you for your post. I truly believe that talking about these things helps dispel the emotional charge behind them. Tango, Don't you think you are being a bit paranoid? The only person who is trying to get people worked up is you. Your theory is quite amusing to say the least. Alas, I am no one special just trying to figure all of this out like everyone else. I gather you enjoy targeting people and picking fights. I have seen the moderators warn you plenty of times, so perhaps you should pay more attention to your own behavior here and less to others. :nono: Chitty, I have never seen you on here before. Could you please tell me what offense I have committed that is so horrible that you are calling for me to be removed? Talk about a negative greeting! Nevermind, for the most part everyone has been quite kind. Moving right along. :smoke: |

I fear nothing. I am not afraid of death - count the potential scenarios down from there.... I am aware of what extreme pain is like. Bit of a bummer but if it happens it happens. Tango, We are not dumb creatures in need of protection. I know for a fact that your heart is firmly in the right place but you keep crossing lines of attack. I don't know why you don't ever seem to understand that. You always violate the rule - no personal attacks - stop it. I am going to ask you here and now, once again, please take a step back. Every time you think you need to attack someone - even if you think they are lizard minions of Lucifer himself, step back and don't post. Trust us, trust the members of this forum. We are stronger than you think! I am sorry to say that I have deleted a number of your posts above. Fears are like clouds in the sky obscuring Light and sunshine.
Concentrating on them is missing the point. It's like looking for an answer without while the truth at all times lies within you. In the core of your being , within who you really are , there is no room for fear or anger. Love Always mudra |

Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
Fiiish, no worry dear. You are a blessing for all of us here. If some people ask mods to ban you form Avalon. Be sure many, many people here do not agree with it.
Now, if you people do not like the thread, don't feed it. If you do want to treat someone with lack of respect, send him a PM. No need to make a show out of it, we have plenty of that nonsense on TV. Fiiish is not asking to focus on fear. I do not agree with this kind of thread either, but I can live with it without the need to cross the line of respect. There is no reason to lack respect like this, it is overreacting. Paranoia is also the thought that crosses my mind. You are asking to shut him up! Is it not exactly what we are all against? Segregation because you do not agree? Inviting him to the exit door? What if you were being treated this way, being new to the site. The way you treat someone will be the way you will be treated. Universal Laws are always at work. Acting like a savior is not what we need, we are all responsible, if not, the savior consciousness will simply worsen the case... Some people have already forget we are guessed here. You can disagree with someone, but try to explain why with decent manner instead of calling 'Ban' to the mods. It is immature. Show us all that we can be mature, responsible, real loving brothers and sisters for humanity. We are light, all of us, Namaste, Steven |
Re: What are you afraid of? Share your hopes and fears!
It is the ultimate in self delusion to profess that you do not ever fear.
Fear is not something to be ashamed of. It is a 'new age' meme to profess yourself unfearful of anything and posses only love. |
