I very much admire your dedication to animal welfare.

Why are you so caustic toward your fellow humans?

You are here to argue cos that is all you have been doing ! so you might as well be honest :)

If you had nt noticed this thread was about wolves .. so why are you going on about nuclear war .. start a nuke war thread :bleh:

Nah, was not you :)

And I'm not trying to argue, i'm just trying to help focus our energy.

The nuclear war thing is just an example of the more dire problems we humans are facing.

I personaly wonder how many of you have ever been hunting? Personaly I have, and have never fealt a closer connection to nature and mans role in nature. Flying around in a helicopter sniping off these animals is not hunting and I don't agree with it.

I will respond.

What would you do if a pack of wolves threatened your food supply?

What would you do if a pack of wolves threatened your family?

Wolves are not fuzzy, furry, helpless creatures as they appear in the video. They are vicious killers along the lines of lions in Africa, tigers in Asia and venomous snakes in South America. They threaten wildlife, people and entire ecosystems.

Futhermore, the video is a campaign attack ad designed to elicit the exact response that it had in you. It is manipulative and deceptive.

Now I have two suggestions for you.

If your aim is to save animals, join the PETA forums.

If your aim is to sway others politically, there are thousands of forums that will welcome you.

Of course, if your aim is to further your own knowledge and teach others of things that are more thought provoking and esoteric in nature, you're welcome to stay here and I will value your input.

OK people..

This thread has been steered way off the original posters topic, and..it should really be in Off Topic

Although the treatment of wildlife can be disturbing that's not the direction Project Avalon is taking right now.

I'd like to refer you to Kerry's opening post in this thread if I may:

This to me seems like some type of animal propaganda. I must admit i do not agree one bit with whats going on but i have seen MANY animal loves actually lovers animals more then humans - not in the nice way either...

Palin is an idiot no way around it but yesh i thought the end was a little dry.

Good God, people. Get a grip on reality here. She is from Alaska, you know where there are people who still like to hunt animals for food. It is a skill that everyone should know. What are you going to do when the economy crashes and all of the grocery stores are closed? Starve?

My two cents worth.

Agreed.

I am going deer hunting next week for the first time in my 43 years. Fortunately deer are plentiful where I live. Although I have never desired to kill an animal, I have a wife and two small children who need to eat. Our garden grows a lot of food, but not enough to sustain us.

I would be remiss if I sat back, knowing the economy is collapsing, without doing everything in my power to make sure they are fed. If hyperinflation comes (and I hope it doesn't) we won't be able to afford grocery store food.

Maybe the govt will give out food - maybe they won't. Either way I will do everything in my power to avoid the govt teat.

We all must do whatever is necessary to survive.

If she would do this to animals ,she wouldn't think twice about doing it to to humans.in my experience you can judge a person by the way they treat animals

So, by your way of thinking, all ranchers would have felt right at home running Auschwitz?

not in my opinion,in my experience people who are cruel to and do not respect animals treat people the same way.I do eat meat and will hunt to eat if I have too,but would never kill for sport .I grew up in a rural farming community.

Then you probably understand the need to eliminate large numbers of predatory animals whose population has grown out of control.

This isn't cruelty. They aren't killing these animals to feed their own bloodlust. The wolf population in Alaska has grown to a dangerous level. The reason they use planes and helicopters is because the expanse of area is so remote and so large that there aren't enough hunters to cover the ground necessary for culling the wolf population.

When will people realize the deck was stacked? The only two candidates we had who were honestly concerned about the people were Kucinich and Paul. Sadly, those two were made to look like fools.

Every other option is owned by the true powers that be.

My posts above are not in defense of Palin. I know nothing about her politics and I really don't care. She's a shill for the elite. As is everyone else running.

No politician is going to save us. They will debate the inconsequential issues and make you believe they're important.

My posts in this thread are to illustrate the power of deceptive and manipulative advertising. I wanted people to see how they bought into the trap. My hope was to help people realize that by delving into the political thought process they are helping to perpetuate the sham.

Who am I voting for? NOBODY. I think the best message we can send at this point is that we don't care about the games they play anymore and we're not going to pay attention.

M. Ghandi went a little further by saying:

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

Re: Brutal: Sarah Palin's Record on Aerial Wolf Hunting

To kill a wolf is a crime against humanity and nature! The wolf is the most intelligent species and highest entity of mans best friend! They are the balance of nature, and have always been the enemy of the illunminati, and a friend to humanity. The wolf never understood the domestication of animals it only understood the overpopulation of domestic animals, and sought to correct the imbalance in the natural enviroment.
I dont care about the political aspects of this lady, my concern is only for the wolf, this is why the illuminati hunt them they are their enemy, and a friend to humanity and a natural balance in nature. The wolf in the sothern states went from being on the endangered list to an all out hunt and kill scenario within a very short time, last spring. Has this ever happened to any other endangered species. Their must be a reason! -X-Spand
